A fundraising dinner for Le Centre d’artistes Voix Visuelle will take place on October 22, 2011, at 6 p.m.
This year, the event will be held at La Nouvelle Scène, a center for French theatre performance in the heart of Ottawa. The fundraising event will be under the honorary presidency of Suzanne Valiquet, executive director of Quartier Vanier Merchants Association, an organisation that promotes Vanier’s economy, improvement and security.
Along many other surprises, digital artwork prints will also be auctioned by Alain Poirier.
The admission price per person is $65. Tickets are on sale at La Nouvelle Scène, located at 333 King Edward Avenue in Ottawa, or at Centre d’artistes Voix Visuelle, located at 81 Beechwood Avenue, in Vanier.

Le Centre d’artistes Voix Visuelle is proud to announce that it has been chosen
as one of the five finalists for the prestigious “Community Pearl Award”,
launched by Marcil Lavallée, a firm of chartered accountants, to celebrate
its 30 years of existence. The initiative aims to help an area, not-for-profit
organization to make a positive difference in the lives of residents. Thus, the winning organization will be presented a $3,000 cash award. The winner will
be revealed in a grand ceremony on June 29, 2010, at the Canada Aviation
Museum. Le Centre d’artistes Voix Visuelle has been nominated by BRAVO,
Bureau des regroupements des artistes visuels de l’Ontario.
