OVTC 35th Anniversary Drive and BBQ - 22 June
Plans are well underway for a drive and BBQ to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. The BBQ will be a catered event at the home of Mike and Marjorie G. We will also be joined by a group of friends from the Toronto Triumph Club, who are planning a drive to Eastern Ontario. We will be coordinating our drives to meet at a convenient site, and then drive together to the BBQ. Mark the date on your calendar now, it should be a great day! Please confirm your attendance at the drive and/or BBQ to president@ovtc.net by 31 May at the latest.
OVTC Darts Tournament, 11 February
Great turn out at this year's dart tournament. Many thanks to Mike S and Chuck H for organizing and running this event. All the games were very close. In the end, two teams from the OVTC met in the finals, with Martin B and Mike G (Team Triumphant) managing to hold off Mark V and Guy V (Team 2 the Point) to claim the trophy. See pictures here.
Drives All Summer Long
Starting Sunday, 12 May, Mike S. will be leading drives around Eastern Ontario to explore sites and back roads. Drives start at 11:00 and leave from the Independent Grocer in Stittsville. See flyer for more information. Everyone is welcome.
OVTC Tool Library
Gary Kristjansson has volunteered to take the lead on this project. Gary would like to hear from all club members about their tool needs, and the tool inventories they might be willing to share with other OVTC members. Is there a specific tool that you might need on an occasional basis that is a bit too expensive to purchase, or do you have some tools you would be willing to lend to other club members? If you have ideas about how this service to members could be set up and managed, Gary would love to hear from you. Please contact Gary at tools@ovtc.net.
