Hello Wonderful Wise Supporters,

I hope this letter finds you well and thriving! The Wise Hall continues its long and proud history as a vibrant East  Vancouver venue where diverse voices unite, creativity thrives and connections flourish. 

We are reaching out you in  a time of unprecedented challenges for our community space due to impact of Covid and the ongoing financial  pressures to recover from those years. Now more than ever we need to expand our reach and this is where we  need your help more than ever. 

We are launching a Fundraising and Membership Drive with an ambitious goal of raising $700 000 and welcoming  500 new members into our community. As many of you know, entry level membership to the Wise Hall is free in  order to remove barriers to our both our community lounge and entertainment venue. However, any paid  contribution and/or membership will directly support: 

- The Wise Hall’s ability to continue to exist, operate and empower our community through an accessible space that supports inclusive arts and cultural events. 

- Facility upgrades necessary for continued and enhanced daily and event operations 

- Outreach into underserved communities. We firmly believe in making art accessible to everyone. 

How You Can Help: 

- Sign up for our annual $10 membership and gain voting rights at our AGM this Spring 

- Follow and promote our shows and lounge on social media

Every dollar counts! Consider making a one-time donation or setting up a monthly contribution.  

- Spread the Word: Help us grow by sharing our mission with friends and family. Your endorsement is incredibly powerful. 

- Volunteer to help solicit or secure donations for our silent auction 

- Book our venue for your show, symposium, clown pageant, dance-a-thon, gothic art review, etc 

The Wise Hall has a long and proud history of supporting our diverse East Vancouver community in a variety of  ways. As a non-profit, our variable rental fees are structured to cover the operational costs of the events hosted. For  more information, email bookings@wisehall.ca
