As the head of one of Canada's largest marketing companies, this Vancouver-based ad man flies frequently to Toronto, New York, Chicago, Edmonton and Montreal.

Mileage: About 24 trips a year.

Ultimate airline: "Recently, I flew to Brazil on Continental Airlines, travelling business class. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Probably my best experience in years."

Chicken or fish: "Chicken. Airlines don't know how to cook fish."

In-flight reading: Mostly newspapers and business journals. "I also read many automobile magazines and I do occasionally enjoy the odd gossip magazine: Hello, Us and People."

Most memorable moment in the air: Almost getting into a fight with World Wrestling Entertainment stars the British Bulldogs. "I guess I was challenging their wrestling form after enjoying a few on-board drinks."

Most unusual form of transportation: A tuk-tuk in Bangkok.

Worst hotel experience: A frequent visitor to a Toronto hotel, Palmer once received a note saying he was eligible for a "complimentary amenity" during his next stay. When he learned that the amenity was a small bag of potato chips, he felt particularly unappreciated.
