Margie Lucille Owens

Margie Owens, 76, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport.

She was preceded in death by her husband, G. Russell Owens; parents; Clyde and Zella Booher; brother; Wayne Booher; and sister; Linda Rosa.

Margie is survived by a daughter, Tracy Cook and husband, Tommy; and her son, Russell Owens and wife, Leslie; three grandchildren: Josey Cook, Kayla Owens, and Sarah Owens; one sister: Freda Christian; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank a special friend, Betty Daugherty for her dedication and friendship to our mom.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Services will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Mike Stout officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Holston View Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
