Manage a catalog in Meta Business Manager
The Meta Business Account, sometimes called a Business Manager account, was renamed. It's now known as a business portfolio.
The main tool to manage your catalog is Commerce Manager, but you can perform some basic actions to manage it with your business portfolio in Meta Business Manager. You'll also need to use your business portfolio to assign permissions to other people or businesses to work on your catalog.
To manage your catalog in Business Manager:
- Go to Business settings. Select your business portfolio.
- Select Data sources followed by Catalogs.
- Select your catalog on the left-hand side.
- Select how you want to manage your catalog. Note: The options you see depend on your permission level for the catalog and whether your business portfolio owns the catalog or is assigned as a partner.
- Add: Create a new catalog or request access to an existing catalog.
- Add people: Add people who are already in your business portfolio to your catalog and assign them permission to work on the catalog. If a person isn't in your business portfolio yet, you'll need to add them first.
- Assign partners: Give another business, such as a marketing agency, access to work on your catalog. Learn more about assigning partners.
- Add items: Add items to the catalog. Learn about ways to add items to your catalog.
- Associate sources: Connect a Meta Pixel or app SDK to your catalog. This is required to run Meta Advantage+ catalog ads. Learn more about connecting a pixel or app SDK to a catalog, including what to do if you don't see yours listed.
- Claim: If your catalog is owned by a partner's business portfolio, such as an agency, you may be able to request an ownership transfer to your business portfolio.
- Remove: Permanently delete the catalog. It won't be available to your business or partners anymore.
- Open in Commerce Manager: Go to your catalog in Commerce Manager to manage your items and access more comprehensive catalog tools.
