I'm Adam, and I'm a technical problem solver. At a high level, you could say I focus on Digital Multimedia. Sometimes I've worked on it directly, via game development or graphics programming, and other times indirectly, such as building social media and streaming video platforms, or media rich mobile apps and websites. My passion lies in taking novel ideas and seeing them transform from concept into reality. I achieve this first and foremost by asking the right questions, and bridging communication gaps often present between technical, business, and creative teams.

  Worked on expanding game engine functionality and performance optimization, as well as technical team management, and introduced development processes to streaming workflows.

  Developed technical roadmap/process & built technical teams for a cross platform social media/content app. Worked with the backend team to design system architecture. Worked with mobile and web teams to develop strategies and select technologies to achieve goals.

  Provided technical solutions, consultation and leadership to a variety of clients in the gaming/AR, social media, streaming, and SAAS spaces. Solo built and led teams for our own games, apps and websites.

• PlayNSync Ltd • 3D & Interactive Multimedia Software Developer

  2009 - 2010, Toronto

  Developed prototypes for interactive 3D software, incorporating motion controls and computer vision. Helped develop long term development milestones and strategies.

Projects

• Arena: Artist Management System

  Arena AMS is a custom built system for use by booking agents. It manages tasks, venue, promoter, and artist information, allows for the creation of contracts for artists and promoters, email blasts, and syncs with google calendar.

• Webaverse

  An open source, web3 metaverse game engine that anyone can host. Expanded game engine functionality, provided performance optimization, introduced processes to streaming workflows.

• SpaceiShare

  SpaceiShare is a Canada's first transactional sharing economy platform for space. Worked with them as a technical consultation and provided mentorship to jr developers

• TAG Mod

  TAG MOD is the most Popular UI/UX re-haul mod for Game Dev Tycoon. Implemented dark mode, modernized codebase, and added better support for OSX.
