Honouring FBC's Founding Chair, Iona Campagnolo"Our hearts go out to the family of Iona Campagnolo, and we offer our condolences on her passing. We join in spirit with all who mourn her and honour her life. Knowing Iona was an unparalleled privilege. As the founding Chair of the Fraser Basin Council from 1997 to 2001, she led our organization with wisdom, insight, warmth and an unwavering commitment to working together for sustainability in communities across this magnificent watershed, and indeed all of British Columbia. Together with my colleagues, I feel humbled by her example and lifelong service. We will strive, as she did, to secure a legacy for future generations.”
– David Marshall, CEO, Fraser Basin Council
All FBC Directors and staff join in honouring Iona Campagnolo. We look back at our 20th Anniversary in 2017, when she shared reflections on FBC and our work, in conversation with David Marshall.
