About
Dr. Mykhailo Magal leads R&D and strategic technical design of decentralized quantum resistant cryptographic authentication and secure data transmission protocols which are applicable to isolated autonomous systems, globally distributed Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure and cloud based systems, as well as do not require centralized PKI/TTP authentication infrastructure.
Based on his research, Mykhailo has designed Iothic OISP cryptographic protocol to make possible decentralized quantum resistant authentication and secure data transmission between OISP authenticated devices located on the edge of globally distributed systems of IoT devices, without the need in centralized PKI/TTP authentication infrastructure. The IoT edge devices can be always ON or OFF and awake when they need to. Experienced software architects, embedded C++ and C# software engineers capable to think out of the box and make things done on time are always welcomed to join his R&D team journey.
Since 2011-2016 he was also working on development and implementation of International Business Cooperation Digital Bridge (IBC Digital Bridge) - a secure web platform to facilitate 24/7 global cooperation to develop public-private partnerships in attraction of foreign direct investment and export development.
When working on the above, Dr. Magal has successfully applied the principles of his whitepaper on Mitigating the Risks Associated with Complex IT Projects. He is well versed in understanding and successful application of latest NIST/NSA standardized/recommended cryptosystems, delivery of complex research and technology projects with involvement of on-site and remotely working professional teams.
Dr Magal holds a Ph.D. in physics and mathematics and a University Certificate in Computer Automation of Scientific Research. He is ITIL v3 certified.
