**** HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS ****
This image of a church at Upper Canada Village was taken during the holiday season ” Alight At night festival”. After a wonderful horse drawn wagon ride, we wandered around this Christmas village with a half million light illuminating it with the seasons precious splendor. Using my camera mounted on a tripod I found this vantage point in a corner of a field away from the crowd to capture this church image as the choir was singing in the background.
“My Oh My am I not beautiful”
While vacationing at Sauble Falls Provincial Park I took this photograph of a seagull who appears to be admiring himself reflecting in a water puddle. I photographed this bird under early morning lighting conditions while observing his different reflections as he moved around the puddle, waiting for the perfect moment where his complete image including his eyes could be captured in the reflections.
Kearney Lake Algonquin Provincial Park Blue Heron
On Labor day weekend while paddling in my canoe on Kearney Lake in semi rough waters I captured this photo of a Blue Heron scurrying from one location to another along the lake. After gauging the timing between wave swells I was successful in obtaining several different poses including this one in a birch tree.
Porcupine (The mysterious one)
Another magnificent day in the Frontenac Provincial Park provided this opportunity to photograph this porcupine. This spiney fellow followed our every move with his haunting eyes. Obtaining details with such a dark subject, was difficult but with a little patience and a break in the fall clouds I was rewarded with this shot.

Eastern White-Tailed Deer in meadow
Any day that includes photography in the great outdoors is a great day, especially with subjects such as deer. This photo and its setting in the meadow at Frontenac Provincial Park was so inspiring.
Frontenac Park departure photos of young bucks.
Another day of fond memories while canoeing and kayaking at Frontenac Provincial Park captured digitally. On numerous occasions we have had the good fortune seeing this park’s wildlife diversity including the eastern white-tailed deer.
These photos of young bucks occurred after my dog barking as we sighted a doe and fawn while driving out, seconds later a better shot became available and i got to try out my new SIGMA 150mm to 500mm DG lense.
Bruce Peninsula National Park “grotto”
On October 10th 2011 my wife and I encountered the beauty of this tropical like paradise. This part of Ontario’s national park provided some of the most spectacular vistas for photography including emerald blue green waters.
