The Downsview Spitfires JR A Hockey Club operates a first-class program that is devoted to the development of young hockey players both on and off the ice. Our first year in the league with the Halton Ravens showed the success we expect the Spitfires to enjoy this season.

Spitfires management is no stranger to high level hockey. With a dedicated minor hockey system with teams competing at the AAA level, the Spitfires will be looking to recruit local and international talent for this season.

The Spitfires pride themselves on having the right people, right connections and right facilities for a committed hockey player to continue his career on whichever avenue he chooses.

• The organization is devoted to developing players to obtain positions in higher levels of hockey and education.  The majority of our players have aspirations to play NCAA or CIS hockey, with some trying to progress to OJHL, OHL or Pro teams.
• Our squads consists of players between 16 and 21 years of age. The organization will work with our players to define clear goals and objectives within the game itself, and for life as a whole.  Only athletes with the highest of expectations of themselves will be considered for our organization.
• We will provide our fans with exciting hockey and an international flavour courtesy of players recruited from all over the world!
