We get and maintain spiritual health (our relationship with God) through three important exercises: growing my soul, giving my resources, and going into the harvest. When we do these three things consistently over time, we feel a deep peace because of the closeness of Jesus, we feel deep joy that comes from obedience to Jesus, and we feel a sense of purpose and impact that comes from working with Jesus. These are not the only spiritual exercises we can do but they are the key spiritual exercises – the ones that transform us over time. The last three Sundays of May Pastor Ed will reflect on Scripture and life in order to understand how Jesus transforms us into joy-filled, peace-filled, and purpose-filled people in our homes, workplaces, and communities.
Here are just a few ways you can get plugged into life here at the church.
