    Yemen's Houthi rebels claim downing US Reaper drone, release footage showing wreckage of aircraft

    Footage released by the Houthis included what they described as the missile launch targeting the drone, and shots of the downed drone including the logo of manufacturer General Atomics, and serial numbers corresponding with known parts made by the company. The U.S. military acknowledged to The Associated Press that “a U.S. Air Force MQ-9 drone crashed in Yemen.” It said an investigation was underway.
