Hello!
I’m Mathilda, a Doctor of Chiropractic and Veterinary Chiropractor working in the south of Sweden. I love my job working with both animals and humans. I see mostly dogs, cats, horses, and humans. I look both at the individual but also at the partnership between horse and rider as they can affect one other. My goal as a holistic chiropractor, is to get the individual animal or human to work at its fullest potential, without interferes of pain or discomfort.
Best regards, Mathilda

Congratulations to all that passed and thank you to the examiners for their hard work and time out of their busy lives to make the exams possible.

IVCA Member- Spotlight

Hi, my name is Sarah Poth, and I was asked if I would like to introduce myself to y’all, so here we go: After doing my basic chiropractic education at the Backbone Academy, I started my own Veterinary Chiropractic practice in the Frankfurt area in Germany in 2021. I mainly treat horses, but over time I also added some canine home visits. I love bonding with my clients, gaining their trust over time and helping the owners to get to understand their pets even better. During my visits I like to take some time to get an overview of health care, prevention, training, and management of each animal to improve their overall wellbeing.
As my practice is still developing, I try to make use of my spare time by using my social media to educate owners about chiropractic in general and diverse topics relating to animal health (and of course also to gain new customers 😉). Petfluencers, pseudo-therapists and misleading adverts are spreading so much misinformation on social media that I think as vets and veterinary chiropractors we should try start using this media more effectively to counter this trend. What are your thoughts on this issue or isn’t it an issue at all in your place or opinion?
And if you have any advice for a colleague who is still at the beginning of her career, I’d love to hear it!
Greetings to everyone from Germany
Sarah

The IVCA is very proud to present our 1st IVCA Member Spotlight and we would love to receive more contributions from our members. Please send it to contact@ivca.de. 🙂

Best of luck Sarah! I have 27 years experience my best advice is love and give all you have to every client. Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care. I’m in Ireland and lots of unqualified people call themselves chiropractors. Don’t let it get you down just keep supporting veterinary chiropractic and telling the truth. Best of luck I hope you love your job as much as I do.

Yeah Sarah, congrats to your cool contribution! Love the pic!😉
