Discover Southeast Alaska! Enjoy the beauty of the endless forests, majestic mountains, and undeveloped waterways while sailing silently among the straits, bays, and inlets of the protected Inside Passage. Hear the roar of icebergs calving as we drift among floating ice at a tidewater glacier.

Listen to the cries of bald eagles as we swing gently at anchor in a pristine wooded cove. Wildlife abounds! Paddle in our double kayak.

Our 50' Catalina yacht has three guest cabins, each with a large double bed and a private bathroom with shower. You can have a private trip with your family or friends, or take one or two cabins and "Join A Group."

We sail with no more than six guests. For a larger group, you can charter an additional yacht. We provision according to your preferences. Our specialty is fresh seafood that we catch along the way!

NEW: GLACIER BAY - BOB is one of a very few yachts that can visit Glacier Bay, which offers remoteness and restricted boat access, incredible scenery, tidewater glaciers, unique geology, and wildlife. Glacier Bay has tidewater glaciers where you can watch icebergs calve off. It's a pretty unique place geographically as 200 years ago it was all covered with ice. When Captain Cook sailed by, the entrance to the bay was one glacier face. Hence the name Icy Strait, because it was loaded with icebergs. It is the fastest ice retreat on record and the land is still rebounding up at 1" per year at the entrance. It is like a time machine in that at the entrance to the bay you have mature temperate rainforest, but as you head up the bay, the land has spent less time free of ice so the vegetation and terrain is completely different. Then at the head of the bay, all you have are spectacular rock mountains, ice, and gravel.

Most of Bob's Glacier Bay trips are 9 day Sitka to Juneau (of vice versa) with 4 days in Glacier Bay. The trip also has fishing around Sitka, crabs and hotsprings at Tenakee, whale watching at Pt. Adolphus, and some bears along the way.
