    Apple's Maryland store workers vote to authorize strike

    The date for work stoppage has yet to be decided, according to the union, which represents Apple's retail store workers in Maryland. "We will engage with the union representing our team in Towson respectfully and in good faith," an Apple spokeswoman said. In June 2022, Apple workers at Maryland voted to join the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers union, becoming the first retail employees of the tech giant to unionize in the United States.
