Flixoft's Grocery Gadget Shopping List for iPhone and iPod Touch Receives Recognition from Apple

Flixoft's Grocery Gadget shopping list application for iPhone and iPod touch receives recognition from Apple this month, including featured selection as a staff favorite within the iTunes App Store.
 
Sept. 25, 2009 - PRLog -- MIAMI, FLORIDA  -- With the introduction of the iTunes App Store in the summer of 2008, grocery shopping list applications have become very popular among users.  There is a vast selection of grocery list applications available on the market, ranging from very simple list applications, to more complex applications offering users a total shopping solution.  With this in mind, Flixoft is pleased to receive recognition from Apple® for Grocery Gadget:  their flagship grocery shopping list application for iPhone™ and iPod® touch that topped the Apple staff member favorite list in the iTunes App Store earlier this week.

Over the last six months, interest in Grocery Gadget has also grown among users.  With the introduction of Grocery Gadget Lite in June 2009, users were offered a free and simplified version of Grocery Gadget so they could sample paid version application features at no cost.  In addition, with the launch of Grocery Gadget’s unique syncing capability and the online portal introduced earlier this year, Grocery Gadget naturally began to carve out its own unique classification against other shopping list applications for iPhone and iPod touch:  The Grocery Gadget application was no longer a simple digital shopping list application, but rather a component of an overall total shopping solution for users.  

In addition to being featured as a staff favorite within the iTunes App Store, Flixoft’s Grocery Gadget shopping list application received recognition during Steve Job’s presentation at the Apple Special Event in Canada earlier this month.  “We are honored to receive such exposure,” says William Anllo, senior developer at Flixoft.  “We are always working to improve upon Grocery Gadget applications and solutions, so our customers have the innovative features required to simplify their overall grocery shopping experience.”
