The Sunshine Coast is located just a short 40-minute ferry ride from West Vancouver’s Horseshoe Bay. An hour-long scenic coastal drive takes you to Madeira Park in Pender Harbour. Drive another half hour to reach the village of Egmont at the end of the Sunshine Coast Highway. Enjoy the beauty of our coast, lakes and forests.

The merger vote was a success

Great news! Pender Harbour Chamber members voted a resounding YES to merge with Gibsons and Sechelt chambers and form the Sunshine Coast Chamber of Commerce. All three chambers held a vote in early November 2023, and all members voted unanimously in favour of merging. Thank you to members, supporters, volunteers and the community for supporting us in our efforts to merge into one organization serving the entire lower Sunshine Coast. A special thanks to our Chamber Boss Ron Badley for his hard work to make this a success!

Pender Harbour Dock Management Plan

The Pender Harbour Area Residents Association (PHARA) promotes beneficial relationships between the residents of Pender Harbour, the Provincial Government and the shíshálh Nation. The Association recently added the Pender Harbour Dock Management Plan (DMP) Working Group as a committee. The purpose of this relationship is to give the DMP Working Group a parent organization with a broader base of membership in the community, as they continue to focus on how to best deal with issues related to docks in the Harbour.
