    Hindu Society of Alberta:

    Our Annual Diwali Patrika is in the process of being compiled. The theme suggested by Pundit-ji are:

    1) “Four Stages of Life (Ashramas) as depicted in the Sanatan Dharma-Hindu Philosophy and
    Religion”

    (Brahmacharya, Grahasthashrma, Vanaprastha, Sanyas)

    2) Another topic suggested is “ Panch Mahatatvas as depicted in Sanatan Dharma”

    (Earth, Water, Fire Air, and Ether); their intricate relations to each other and to life.

    We are interested in articles and essays on these topics. We shall appreciate your contributions to the
    2011-2012 Patrika.

    The Patrika committee reserves the rights as follows:

     to publish or not publish any articles,


     The articles may be edited with author’s permission and approval
     The length should be between 2-3 pages ( size 12 font)
     The articles should be sent ( e-document in word) by August 31 2011
     The authors will be contacted by Sept 15 2011 with Committee’s decision
     Upon printing (Oct 15), copies of the Patrika will be sent to authors.
