Felicity is a full-service public relations, communications and content company. This virtual agency brings together a team of communications professionals whose experiences and qualifications are made-to-measure. I contribute to creative direction and design for Felicity’s clients, and for Felicity itself, including the agency’s own branding, website and event materials.

Forest Hill Village BIA

Tailor Design delivers ongoing communications design for the Forest Hill Village BIA, a historic and high-end neighbourhood in Toronto.  In 2015 we created an engaging ‘Shop Local’ marketing campaign as part of a strategy to support local business during a period of streetscape renovation. We photographed four local business owners to illustrate the concept “It takes a village.” The campaign appeared on transit shelters, on decals that went up on shop windows throughout the neighbourhood, in local newspapers and magazines, and in a redesigned website. The existing Forest Hill Village logo was also updated with a new tagline: Shop | Sip | Dine | Delight.

In 2016 we evolved our strategy to celebrate the recently completed neighbourhood improvements. Tailor Design oversees ongoing print advertising initiatives as well website updates.

Toronto Terminals Railway

Toronto Terminals Railway is the operating railway responsible for trains throughout the Union Station Rail Corridor. Tailor Design rebranded this Toronto institution and applied the new brand platform to a variety of promotional communications pieces including a newly designed website, stationery, brochure and tradeshow booth.

Canadian Centre for Pollution Prevention

The Canadian Centre for Pollution Prevention set out to publish a booklet for teenagers on the topic of sustainable consumption. Tailor Design was tasked with presenting complex issues in a format that would be relevant and engaging to a youth audience. The launch of the print and web-based booklet met with an overwhelming response: in the first 48 hours over 1000 copies were downloaded from the website and in the first 6 days over 5000 copies were downloaded.

Social Innovation Canada

Social Innovation Canada is a national online competition that brings to light the work of social innovators in Canada. Tailor Design generated a visual identity that expresses the themes of social interaction, collaboration and innovation. The brand was applied to a variety of materials, including a promotional postcard, website and a concept for a book that documents case studies of social innovators in Toronto.

Purina

Nestlé Purina publishes a quarterly newsletter for its employees. Tailor Design carried out a total rebrand and redesign of this newsletter, resulting in a more attractive, reader-friendly format that was more closely aligned with the company’s brand guidelines. In addition to redesigning the template, Tailor Design oversaw the design and layout of each newsletter over the course of two years.
