new day, new year - hopefully new direction with better habits -- yeah right !!
start of the year of getting my house in order - have been doing the death clean for at least 5 years
maybe setting a timer and doing a room pick up --- maybe an item in an item out.
maybe some type of reward system ? -- well, here I go - first - make a list !

My ''death clean'' includes any family member showing an interest in an item(s) in my house goes home with it. Hubby says when anyone comes over he's going to lock himself in his office.

Hello everyone, I often read messages here and never added. But Kathy, I couldn't help myself' ur too funny! My mom did that and I helped her by saying yes to many things. Even if I didn't want them as they were clutter and no one would want them I would take them. I figured it would cut down the final clean that I would dread when it came. I also told my six bro's and sis what I was doing, so we all helped mom 8)). There were items that some were interested in but mom wasn't ready to get rid of them at that time. She decided she would attach a sticky under the item with their name on it. It made her quite happy to see her prized possessions go to her 7 children and 13 grandchildren. Enjoy your day.
