KEIGHAN, Joseph Vincent – With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Joey on Friday June 10th, 2011. Loving son of the late Carol Ann (2010) and Michael Keighan. Loved and missed by his sister Carrie Ann Markowski (Daryl), brother Michael Keighan Jr. and sister Alicia Keighan (Chris Jones). Dear uncle of Cameron and Brandon Markowski. Beloved grandson of Catharine Keighan, and nephew of Jon (Judy), Tim and Marlene. Special friend of Sara Francis. Joey is also survived by many cousins and friends. For many years Joey was an avid baseball and hockey player, and recently became a coach in both sports. A life-time fan of the Chicago Blackhawks, he was elated when they won the Stanley Cup last year. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday June 16th, at Our Lady of the Scapular Church at 11 a.m. Joey will be buried with his mom, at Fairview Cemetery at a later date. In keeping with his passion for baseball and hockey, donations in Joey’s name may be made to the Greater Niagara Baseball Association or the Niagara Falls Minor Hockey Association.
