We help people who are suffering social, economic, mental and emotional adversity and are in need of assistance. We have been proudly serving the local Edmonton community for over half a century, walking side by side with individuals and communities as they go through challenging times. Our foundation is Jewish but our services are inclusive and accessible to people of all backgrounds; we welcome everyone to our organization.  

We acknowledge that Jewish Family Services are on Indigenous land in Treaty 6 territory. Land occupied, travelled, and cared for by Indigenous peoples since time immemorial. Jewish Family Services is on the ancestral territory of many indigenous peoples that make up Treaty Six including the Cree, Saulteaux, Nakota and Dene. We pay respects to their elders past and present and take a moment to consider the many legacies of displacement, dispossession, violence and settlement that has occurred in the past and continues today.

Our services are derived from the Jewish phrase TIKUN OLAM, or heal the world. We are committed to the healing of our own Edmonton communities and offer counselling services to individuals and groups looking for a compassionate space, as well as tailored support programs to newcomers and seniors.
