Our Heart is With the Community
These are challenging days for all of us in Canada’s Jewish community. Still reeling from the horrific tragedy of the October 7 atrocities in Israel, we especially feel the pain of the ongoing hostage nightmare. At the same time, Jews in Canada and around the world are experiencing the worst outbreak of sustained antisemitism since the Holocaust.
Amid such a difficult reality for our people, it’s critical we stand together as a Community, strong and resolute in our commitment to our values and collective well-being. We must never be silent in the face of such hate targeting Canadian Jews and Israel while recognizing we have many allies from other communities who are steadfast in their support for Jews and the Jewish State.
For more than 100 years and five generations, Benjamin’s has been proud to serve Toronto’s incredible Jewish Community. We are honoured to provide the space below as a platform for people to help give strength to each other while expressing their support for and solidarity with Israel and Jews in Canada and elsewhere.
