Nature's Hideaway Family Campground

Dear Valued Camper, 

 

 We are SO excited to serve you and to begin another camping season! 

We sincerely apologize if you have been waiting to connect with us. We are still experiencing technical issues... but in just a few more days, we expect to begin processing reservations by email. (May 2nd)

 

   We have nearly an entire campground to fill with your May long weekend camping requests!  In fact, all dates from May 10th until October 15th are currently available for reservation. 

 Once we begin processing next week, we will make sure to include any completed Reservation Request Forms that have been emailed to us after April 26, 2024. 

 Reservation Request Forms and details, can be found on our website under the Rates & Reservations tab.   

 

  Please note that the campground water service and campground washrooms are not available until approximately May 15th. Trailers will need to fill with water before arriving but only until then. Tenting will be offered after the water & washrooms are available.

Welcome to Nature's Hideaway

Come camp with us at our Family Campground in a peaceful wilderness setting located beside the beautiful Highwood River.

Only 20 minutes SE of Calgary or 15 minutes NE of Okotoks; Nature's Hideaway Family Campground is a natural paradise for all to enjoy.  

​

The Highwood River surrounds the campground on three sides and provides the perfect current for a lazy float down stream as well as lots of room for swimming or just lounging on a beach.

 

Set up camp for the family under the canopy of 100 year old Cottonwood Poplar trees along the banks of the Highwood River and even commute to work from your site! 
 

Nature's Hideaway Family Campground offers sites for all sizes of RVs , with services of 20amp power, water and septic hook-ups as well as tenting sites with power and water or non serviced. Each site is provided with a fire pit & picnic table.

Reservations are recommended for long weekends and

the months of June, July and August.

To request a reservation, simply print or download the appropriate form on our

Rates & Reservations page and email it to us at nhc123@telus.net .

We'll process your Reservation Request and you'll receive a confirmation email at the time of booking. Alternatively , email us directly for a Reservation Request Form or call us at 403-938-8185.
