As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, CSNM has designated Fred Victor. as the charity of choice for the 2023 CSNM Conference.
Fred Victor is a social service charitable organization that fosters long-lasting and positive change in the lives of homeless and low-income people living across Toronto. They support over 3,000 people every day through housing, programs and Services.
Along with the Silent Auction, we also received Cash Donations and held a 50/50 draw at the Conference Gala Dinner.
CSNM is thrilled to report that we were able to raise a total of $2,485.00, and those proceeds will go to Fred Victor.

Hosted by CSNM 2022 – 2023 President, Penny Zdichavsky, CNM the CSNM Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. EDT. Join us IN-PERSON at the CSNM 2023 Conference or join us VIRTUALLY. Come and hear the activities that the CSNM Board of Directors was involved in during the past year and what is planned for the future. Elections for open positions will be held during the AGM. Finally, we’ll conclude with the induction of the 2022-2023 Board, and a welcome message from our incoming President
Proxy Ballots: Our proxy form is online and will allow you to not only choose your proxy holder but direct your proxy holder with your voting instructions. We encourage all members to attend. If you are not able to attend in person, we encourage you to complete a proxy form with your direction on any voting that will take place during the AGM. Proxy forms must be received via the online submission process no later than 8:00 pm EDT on June 8, 2023. Please note that as per the CSNM bylaw, proxy ballots must be submitted in advance as noted.

Please take notice that the Annual General Meeting of the members of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management will be held virtually on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 1:30 p.m.. EDT for the purpose of:

CSNM is actively monitoring the situation around coronavirus disease (COVID-19) around the world and in Canada. We want to ensure you that your health, safety and well-being remain our number one priority during this difficult time. We applaud and appreciate all our members for the work they do in the LTC and healthcare industries and know how important you all are too so many Canadians and their families across the Country.
The well-being of our members, volunteers and all stakeholders remain our top priority. We will continue to follow the relevant guidelines provided by both Health Canada and the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding the proper management of this issue and we will adapt our response as the situation evolves. The Government of Canada provides regular updates and guidance on COVID-19 on its website, which is updated daily. Another useful resource on the Guidance for the Healthcare Sector can be found here. Also please COVID-19 is an incredibly dynamic situation so we ask for your patience and understanding as we, as an Association, learn how to best navigate this pandemic while continuing to provide up to date information and resources.
In regards, to our upcoming Conference and AGM scheduled for June 17th – 19th, 2020 in Toronto, the Conference Planning team, along with the CSNM Board of Directors has been reviewing this at length. At this time, our hope is that we will be able to proceed in three months’ time with business as usual and hold our Conference. In the meantime, CSNM adheres to safe travel and responsible decision making, and we recommend that attendees hold off on booking travel arrangements at this time unless you have consulted with your travel partner on appropriate cancellation/change options. Also, please note that our Early Bird rate, scheduled to end on March 31st will be extended and this date communicated to you once final decisions are in place.

In the case of a cancellation or rescheduling of this event, CSNM will immediately inform attendees, volunteers, guests and other relevant parties.
