Niemi effectue 31 arrêts et les Sharks battent l'Avalanche 3-2 en fusillade

DENVER - Patrick Marleau et Joe Pavelski ont touché la cible en fusillade et les Sharks de San Jose ont battu l'Avalanche du Colorado 3-2, mardi.

Antti Niemi a stoppé 31 rondelles pendant les 65 minutes de jeu, tandis que Brent Burns et Logan Couture ont fait bouger les cordages en temps réglementaire pour les Sharks.

Semyon Varlamov a effectué 49 arrêts avant les tirs de barrage, alors qu'Alex Tanguay et Gabriel Landeskog ont marqué en temps réglementaire pour l'Avalanche. La troupe de Patrick Roy a gagné un seul de leurs quatre matchs à domicile jusqu'ici cette saison.

Marleau et Pavelski ont fait mouche lors des deux premières rondes en fusillade, appliquant ainsi de la pression sur les tireurs de l'Avalanche. Niemi a frustré Tanguay avant de mettre fin à la rencontre en arrêtant le tir de Matt Duchene à l'aide de sa mitaine.
