Overall, our stay was wonderful. The room was great once we figured how to operate the lights and the 18th floor was superb. There is one major issue management should fix and soon. We stopped in at the Reign Bar for a Bloody Caesar. We each had one and they are absolutely the worst Bloody Caesars ever. I've had Bloody Caesars all over the country, every bar in Canada makes one. I can go to a dive bar and get a great Bloody Caesar but apparently not in a fancy hotel like the Royal York. We had one drink and left. I'll bet nobody that's ever had a Bloody Caesar there ever ordered a 2nd one. I usually will have 3 or 4 before heading up to my room but not here. The problem is management not the bartender. Instead of using Mott's Clamato Juice (as you should) they used some weird solution called "Water's". I'm told it has spices in it. What it doesn't have in it is flavor. I would have never expected a place like the Royal York Hotel to make such a very bad drink as this. Look it, The Bloody Caesar is this nation's most popular cocktail and you failed miserably to make a good one. The hotel manager and the bar manager need to correct this immediately. The national drink of Canada can be made in a dive bar better than at a fancy hotel like the Royal York. The Royal York hotel should be embarrassed and totally ashamed of themselves for screwing up this widely famous cocktail. I would much rather you raise the price of this drink than to continue to use substandard ingredients that are currently in use. (Even the celery salt was bad). Some bean counter figured this cheaper way would be better for the hotel, WELL IT'S NOT! The Royal York hotel's version of a Bloody Caesar is a disgrace. I highly recommend the managers of the hotel and the bar order one of these drinks and report back. Where's the quality control here? Does anyone ever taste test the products in this bar? The superb food and all the exquisite details used on the 18th floor should also be front and center in this supposedly looking refined bar called The Reign Bar. Furthermore, I am insulted that the management of this place apparently doesn't think we Bloody Caesars drinkers would know the difference in the ingredients used in this drink, WE SURE DO. Martini drinkers are very fussy about their martinis. James Bond wants his shaken, not stirred, get the point. Real Bloody Caesars drinkers also want their drinks made correctly. (No, I don't work for the Mott's Company). The next time I come to Toronto I will first find a hotel that knows how to make a Bloody Caesar before I make my reservation.
the room was tiny and stuffy the bathroom was not clean to fairmont standard lots of noise throughout the night so had a very disruptive sleep the staff was very kind and exception as always, i was just disappointed with my accommodations only
I appreciated the upgrade as an Accor member
Room too small. Bathroom had no place to put anything down. Only stairs at main entrance. The Fairmont Gold lounge was good.
There was confusion with our reservation, in part, due to the way upgrades are displayed on your website. Your staff was excellent at defusing an awkward situation and coming to a resolution that caused a minimum of inconvenience. I want to thank the manager on the Gold Floor for her excellent work.
Gym needs work more peloton machines and updated treadmills needed
Overall dissatisfied with the room I had. The room had a musty smell to it and was on the smaller end. Bathroom had a fly infestation which I think was coming from the bathtub as it was slow to drain. Would not stay again. Was not aware that the pool was also going to be out of order until the day I arrived (only found out when I went to use it).

There is nothing to be negitive about. From start to finish everything was good and everybody we dealt with went above and beyond expectations.
I stayed at the Royal York for a work event. The hotel always impresses!
I was in Toronto for a conference and was able to balance a busy work trip with some fun, all from the Fairmont Royal York. The commute to and from Pearson International Airport was easy with Union Station right across the street. I would love to stay again at the Royal York on my next visit.
