Working Together for Safer Communities

Arson is everyone’s problem. It can affect every community and can result in tragic loss of life and extensive property losses. The property losses resulting from incendiary acts hurt not only those who own targeted properties, but also the individuals and communities who rely on the jobs, products and services provided by businesses that fall victim to arson.

The membership of BC Chapter 15 IAAI consists of public and private sector fire investigators, police and fire personnel, safety authority staff, insurance professionals, military personal, educational institutions and other special investigators. Our goal is work together to train fire investigators to perform thorough and well-informed investigations. We provide training seminars and events, information on where to access further training and resources, and foster intercommunication and networking among fire investigators in BC.

“ It is through an efficient and accurate determination of the cause and responsibility that future fire incidents can be avoided.“
