    Today Tarion releases its 2024 New Home Buyers Report, a snapshot of new home purchasing in Ontario. First launched last year, the 2024 report explores what Ontario’s consumers are looking for in a new or pre-construction home and how they’re navigating the complex home buying journey in an evolving marketplace. Highlights of this year’s report: ◼️ Compared to the previous year, approximately 25% fewer consumers in Ontario were considering buying a new home in the next 12 months ◼️ The number of Ontarians considering a new or pre-construction home decreased by about 34% year-over-year ◼️ Consumers are waiting longer to buy: two-thirds (66%) of respondents said they were considering a new or pre-construction home purchase within the next six to 12 months, an increase of five percentage points over the previous year.     How do wood, paper and pushpins get turned into impact? Our recent partnership with WoodGreen Community Services did just that. We created an interactive display that raised awareness for their Homeward Bound program in the lead up to #IWD at #CIBCSQUARE. The display transformed with the help of passersby over the course of the week-long installation. At the end of activation, the display became the backdrop for a major donation announcement from the Raymond G. Chang Foundation.
