our story
In 2020, my wife, Julie, and I had epic plans for our 30th wedding anniversary. We’re barely into our 50’s and the time was right for an amazing trip into the Scottish Highlands. At least, we thought the time was right. A tiny virus with an enormous impact changed everything. With all the ever-changing travel restrictions, we weren’t going anywhere. At least not overseas.
Julie and I have never been ones to sit on our hands and let life pass us by. We look for adventure wherever we can find it. After 15 years of living on Lake Erie, we decided to hit the open road and explore the unique travel opportunities on and around the Great Lakes. Even better, we’re filming our experiences to share with you and creating a curated travel guide for each of the 8 regions along The Great Lakes.
