WHAT IS THE MCAO

The Mechanical Contractors Association of Ontario (MCAO) is an employer organization working for the enhancement of Unionized Mechanical Contractors in the Ontario Construction Industry.


The Association continues to represent the best interests and concerns of our membership through our involvement in ongoing, established activities, as well as our development of, and participation in, several existing new initiatives aimed at improving our industry and level of success in the future.

    The MCAO/OPTC Provincial Collective Agreement

    The Canada Ontario Job Grant

    The Canada-Ontario Job Grant provides direct financial support to individual employers or employer consortia who wish to purchase training for their employees. It is available to small, medium and large businesses with a plan to deliver short-term training to existing and new employees.

    The Construction Education Council’s primary role is to assess the education and training needs of the mechanical contracting industry and to promote and deliver programs to meet these needs.
