Vu is an independent IT consultant and subject matter expert in the field of health informatics and eHealth. Over the past 20+ years, his career has been focused on the delivery of healthcare IT systems in both public and private sectors. Vu brings a unique blend of technical skills and business acumen which allow him to work directly with stakeholders to understand the big picture as well as providing requirements and leadership to development teams during implementation.
His broad experience and specialties include systems integration and interoperability, healthcare data and messaging standards, architectures, and health data analytics.
Vu has contributed to large scale healthcare integration projects including Connecting Ontario, GTA West DI-R, HDIRS, Pharmacy Management System (Shoppers Drug Mart), Integrated Assessment Record (IAR) and Wait Time Information System in various clinical domains (Medication Management, Diagnostic Imaging, Shared Health Record and Lab domain).
