I trained several of our men here in Kamea-Land to run the sawmill. This little 10 hp diesel just chugs along and makes beautiful wood out of rough trees in the jungle.
As for the safety equipment...these guys have never worn shoes before, and when I gave them the safety equipment, they kept taking them off and leaving them stacked in the corner. You can only tell them to "be safe" so many times. Instead, they utilize common sense.
Here we are cutting wood for the GuestHouse. (We have several missionaries that will be coming new to Papua New Guinea in the next year and they will need a place to call home until they can build their own.)
