About
Janet is a senior graphic designer who embraced the opportunity to sharpen her talents at several prominent London design studios prior to opening Zero Gravity Design in 2003; a successful venture she continued to drive for twelve years until she decided to evolve and launch Lumin8 in 2015.
Janet began her journey at Conestoga College and graduated with honours as 1 of 4 in the province to have received an Outstanding Achievement Scholarship from The Association of Registered Graphic Designers.
To date she has completed over 2,700 design projects, increased sales figures for client’s by up to 64%, and continues to prove herself as a powerful player in the world of graphic design.
A love of learning keeps her current and a desire to excel keeps her always moving forward.

Developed both design skills by hand and computer at the second highest rated college in the country at the time for Graphic Design & Advertising. The intense workload projected actual field related stress, and even so all deadlines were met, unique ideas pondered and pleasing results prevailed.

Completed program on the Conestoga College Honour Role in 2001 for Outstanding Academic Accomplishments. -

Studied four years Advanced Visual Arts, one year Comprehensive Design, and one year of Fashion Arts to grasp the beginning of the world of design. Also completed courses in Marketing, Accounting, Economics, and Entrepreneurship. Received a Business Diploma in January 1998. Received the Academics Award in Grade 12 for three consecutive years on the Honour Role and also won First Place in a regional logo contest for “MIND” (Marketing in New Dimensions) Day.
