The holidays impact our families in many ways and we try to anticipate and alleviate as much as we can. It’s a collective effort that involves our team, our volunteers and our community. It’s fitting that April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month and our dedicated Chai Lifeline Canada volunteers in Toronto and Montreal go above and beyond for our families everyday and especially for the holidays. We are so grateful for every volunteer who has made extra deliveries, cooked extra meals, and spent extra time with children and families at home and in hospital leading up to Passover. Thank you!#chailifelinecanada #chailifeline #passover #volunteer #volunteerappreciation #wefightillnesswithlove #hopeliveshere ... See MoreSee Less

Chai Lifeline loves Tiferes Bais Yaakov volunteers and Tiferes Bais Yaakov loves Chai Lifeline girls. ❤️❤️Some of our Chai girls were treated to tickets to see the Tiferes play, Fabricated. The Chai girls were excited to see their big sisters and beloved volunteers perform on stage and presented them with beautiful roses after the performance. Special thanks to volunteers Chavi, Yaeli, Alexa and Shoshana for being chaperones for such a special night out. The stop for Slurpees on the way home was an added bonus. The relationships that are nurtured by our volunteers are cherished by our Big Siblings, our families and all of us at Chai Lifeline Canada. ❤️❤️❤️#chailifelinecanada #chailifeline #volunteers #volunteerappreciation #VolunteerAppreciationWeek #bigsister #bigsibling #girlsnightout ... “Thank you so much for all the amazing Pesach food! There are no words to describe how much we appreciate everything Chai Lifeline is doing for us. ❤️”Recognizing the additional stress on our families that comes with preparing for Passover, we step up our support - so too do our volunteers and community partners.Over the past few days more than 30 volunteers delivered 80 boxes filled with food for Passover to the homes of our families who are impacted by illness. “Wanted to give a HUGE thanks for the Passover box- it is exactly what we needed!!! Kosher groceries are very hard to find in our area.”We are so grateful for the generous support from Tomchei Shabbos of Toronto and @ujafederation for thinking of us and our families. On Monday, people volunteered to do deliveries in loving memory of Menachem Ben Shmuel a”h, father of our dedicated Chai big brother, Josh Toledano.#chailifelinecanada #chailifeline #passover #passoverprep #volunteer #volunteerappreciation #community #communitypartners #kosherforpassover #wefightillnesswithlove #hopeliveshere ...
