These two photos are from the annual gathering of many relatives and friends after midnight mass on Christmas Eve (2007) at Chris' final resting place. Thank you to all those who attended to take part. It means so much to us. We gather to remember Chris, whose light burned so brightly, but so briefly.

I know I am still with you
in your prayers, your thoughts, your heart.
And though you cannot see me,
I will always be a part
of life's sweet celebrations
in those times when you reflect
on how, though things are different,
through our love, we still connect.
We'll see each other someday
when our spirits all are free,
until then, I am with you

In memory of Chris, all proceeds from the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Annual Chris' Challenge Cup Hockey Tournament went to God's Littlest Angels orphanage in Haiti.

God's Littlest Angels is a Haitian orphanage located in the mountains above Pétion-Ville, close to the village of Fermathe, Haiti. The majority of the children brought to the orphanage are between the ages of newborn and 7 years old. They also have older children, sibling groups, and children with special needs waiting for adoptive parents.

God's Littlest Angels has ministered to the children of Haiti since 1994 and has been involved in international adoptions since 1997. GLA is involved in several children's ministries in the local community. In the year 2000, GLA implemented a school sponsorship program for children unable to attend school due to the lack of funds. Today, more than 200 children attend school sponsored by people in North America and Europe.

Also at the tournament, there will be the opportunity to donate directly to the God's Littlest Angels orphanage.
