D. A. Derksen Consulting was founded in 2004 to provide complete commercial interior design and building permit solutions at a reasonable cost. We strive to produce practical and high-quality creative designs on time and on budget.
We are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and are proud to have over 85% of our projects coming from referrals or repeat business. We have successfully completed projects throughout Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia.
D. A. Derksen Consulting is fully insured, and maintains all provincial designer qualification and registration requirements, including a Building Code Identification Number (BCIN) in good standing.
As a registered Designer, Derek has over 20 years of experience in commercial design and the construction industry. Derek also has 8 years of experience in commercial general contracting, construction management, and estimating. This previous contracting experience enables Derek to understand the contractors' perspective, and ensure that drawings and specifications are clear, complete, and straightforward.
