"The 'Duke' of Hillsburgh"

Welcome to my home page!

I am 'retired' now, but still quite busy with family, income taxes (CVITP), investments (stock market), working around the house and garden, Toastmasters' Club, and many other activities.
Never a dull moment and no time to get bored. I have stopped consulting, business analysis, web design and other things I used to do in the city.
I haven't been very active on Facebook, although I do a posting periodically. I finally published my book(let) to collect the main issues and solutions I learned from my consuting time.
The Kindle version has the same content as the book, but the Kindle format turned out quite different from what I had edited in their 'creator' program. . It took me longer to format the book than it took me to write it in the first place, because what comes out of it does not even resemble the edited input. Fortunately, the paperback version is almost the same as my original v ersion (apart for some alignment issues).

A broad overview of my career CV is in my book and also on this page.

Living in Maxwell, away from the city is great! e.g. When I go shopping, I don't have to fight the traffic, but have a leasurely drive through the beautiful country site.
We do get more snow here than in Toronto and the temperature is roughly about 7 degrees C lower here. That is very pleasant in the summer, but tends to strech the spring a little long.
WE were lucky to complete our move, just before COVID19 hit. Right thereafter, there was a lot of interest of Torontonians to move into the country when it became apparent that they could run their business from here just as easy as from a city apartment and with much less hassle. :)

I have 3 websites left from several before:

I have recently published a booklet to help businesses to recover from the damage that COVID 19 has done. You can find it on Amazon:
