Value Benefits Matrix

The Value Benefits Matrix maps the relationships between each of the value benefits of effective IT project execution capability and their corresponding DGMC Deliverables and IT Project Services. The type of relationship that exists between a value benefit and its related DGMC Deliverable or IT Project Service is indicated by a 'P' or an 'S'. A 'P' signifies that achievement of the value benefit primarily is supported, enabled or assured by the related DGMC Deliverable or IT Project Service. An 'S' signifies that a DGMC Deliverable or IT Project Service provides secondary level support, enablement or assurance for achieving the related value benefit.

The Value Benefits Matrix, in effect, can serve as a roadmap for achieving the proven value benefits of effective IT project execution capability through the enactment, implementation or provision of related DGMC Deliverables and IT Project Services. Organizations can refer to the specific details of the IT Project Services listings in order to determine which services may be appropriate for their particular IT project requirements.

NOTE: If recovery/ rescue action is initiated in connection with the provision of Project Recovery/ Rescue Services then achievement of the indicated value benefit primarily is supported, enabled or assured through the implementation of appropriate recovery action plans and remediation activities.
