Welcome to my little corner of the web! I'm Melissa, a proud small-town Saskatchewan native. As a mom to two amazing boys and a devoted dog mom to a mini doodle, my days are always lively.

My journey into entrepreneurship began in 2007 when I felt the need for flexibility in my work life. Frustrated by the rigidity of a 9-5 job and wanting to support my son through school challenges, I started a residential cleaning business. This allowed me to tailor my schedule around his needs. When my family expanded with the arrival of my second son in 2009, I transitioned into running a home daycare until 2017, when burnout hit.

Balancing businesses and family life, photography and graphic design were always my end goal. Originally a side hustle alongside my other endeavors, I poured resources into both equipment and skill refinement. In 2020, I earned a graphic design diploma, and during the challenges of COVID, I dedicated myself to mastering the business aspects. Now, I've transitioned to running my own photography business and venturing into the digital creators arena, eager to assist DIY enthusiasts, budding entrepreneurs, and fellow photographers.
