KESWICK, ONTARIO -

KESWICK is a Community located in the Canadian province of Ontario. Situated in Cook's Bay on Lake Simcoe, 72 km (45 mi) north of Toronto. KESWICK is part of the Town of Georgina, the northernmost municipality in the Regional Municipality of York.

Keswick was originally known as Medina, founded by Chris Armstrong. It was a part of the Township of North Gwillimbury before becoming part of the Township of Georgina. It may have been renamed after Keswick, Cumbria in England. The area was formerly considered part of "cottage country" for those who lived in Toronto up until the late 1980s, when major development further opened up access to KESWICK, expanding its population.

Since the completion of the extension of Highway 404 into the region, the Simcoe Landing community has resumed construction. The completed community will span from Ravenshoe Rd to Glenwoods Ave, The Queensway South to Woodbine Ave. Future plans indicate an additional elementary and secondary school to be located in this area as well as parks and green space.

KESWICK, EDMONTON -

KESWICK is a neighbourhood in southwest Edmonton, Alberta, Canada that was established in 2010 through the adoption of the Keswick Neighbourhood Structure Plan (NSP). It is a planned neighborhood, which is a joint venture between MLC Group and Cameron Communities. The neighborhood was inspired by the Lake District in England and features parks, constructed wetlands and expansive walking trails.

Keswick is located within the Windermere area and was originally considered Neighbourhood 3 within Windermere Area Structure Plan (ASP).
