Landlord service. When you rent from Quality Student Housing you're not dealing with an agent but with the owner himself, with the power to take immediate action to resolve your concerns. Should a repair be needed, Mr. Braun lives here in Kingston and his company, Building Services By Braun, Ltd., will respond immediately.
Condition. All of the houses have been professionally and completely renovated prior to being rented out for the first time. Each time a house changes hands from tenant group to tenant group, the house is cleaned personally by Mr. Braun and his team and all repairs necessary at that time are done to put the house back into "as-new" condition. This usually involves whole house cleaning, carpet cleaning, venetian blind cleaning and the repair of small nail holes in walls and the re-painting of necessary areas. Location. You'll find that these properties are in walking distance of all you need and want, such as restaurants, stores, bars, school, recreation facilities and banks.
Security. All houses have deadbolts on the entry doors; all have new windows which are quite secure when they are closed and locked. All houses have smoke detectors in each bedroom, carbon monoxide detectors, and two or more fire extinguishers. The larger houses have fire escapes and interconnected fire alarm systems as required by law. All bedroom doors are individually locked by deadbolt so that your room is secure even when there may be guests at a party or gathering in your home.
Perhaps most importantly, all of the houses are rented to groups of people who already know each other...usually from residence. None are rented out by the individual room. Mr. Braun checks each house daily during March break and Christmas vacation when they are vacant.Value. Quality Student Housing properties all offer newer gas heating systems, parking, new windows, steel doors, upgraded insulation, lots of hot water, laundry facilities, dishwashers, propane barbeques, stove, one or more fridges, microwaves and chest freezers included as part of the leasehold arrangements.
