Marilyn Stewart
Marilyn Stewart is one of Canada’s leading Customer Relationship Marketers. She is an innovator and entrepreneur. She’s a direct marketer.
After an initial career in the publishing and record club industry and armed with Wunderman Canada training, Marilyn founded Canada’s first independently owned direct marketing agency. Stewart Direct Marketing was then proudly merged with Ogilvy & Mather to form Ogilvy & Mather Direct (OgilvyOne) in Canada.
Then forever the entrepreneur, she founded Stewart Consulting Group in 1995 to fill a void in the market. Corporations had squeezed the customer out from the center of their business model – it still happens today.
Recognition
Marilyn is the proud recipient of two (2) Lifetime Achievement Awards for excellence in marketing and education.
During the Award ceremony, she was described as:

Our Work
We have been privileged over the years to develop relationships with pre-eminent clients. Our work has been varied; naming new products and articulating their benefits, new product development, loyalty programs, credit cards, magazines and financial institutions, to name a few. When I look back, retention seems to be a theme. But I shouldn’t be surprised, retention = profits.
Each initiative was different, but the same. Different because the goals were unique. The process differed. But the same in that they trusted us with their business, and we listened, analyzed, processed, and acted to define and address the challenges.
We enjoy long-term contracts where we can live the rhythm of the business and have a longer-term analysis of customer behavior.
