A diagnostic fee is paid for a technician to drive to your residence, disassemble the necessary pieces of your appliance and diagnose the root cause of the issue that you are having with your appliance. The diagnostic fee is included in the price of the repair when you decide to proceed with the repair.
Home appliances, much like anything else on the market vary in initial cost. The more expensive the product is at time of purchase will generally reflect the cost of replacement parts. Furthermore, appliance breakdowns vary in severity, hence the total cost of a repair on your home appliance is evaluated on an individual basis. That being said, our company policy is to keep repairs, budget friendly. That means the cost of a repair rarely exceeds 35% of the cost of replacement.
Our techs carry a vast amount of common replacement parts in the van. Many repairs are done in one visit, which usually takes 45 mins – 1.5 hrs. In the cases where more obscure parts are needed, our average turnaround is within 48 hours.
Our techs are trained to guide the customer in the most budget friendly and economical direction. Upon diagnosis, the technician will provide a concrete quote for the repair and provide reasoning for proceeding with the repair.
