Fiscal cliff

fiscal cliff

The fiscal calamities this time seems to be more real in United States than ever before. At least I am more worried about it this time around. I think this time around it might be a bit more than partisan rhetoric, and vitriol; and there is a more ominous cause behind it.

I think the reasons are, first, the tax breaks that were put in place by the previous administration cannot be removed. Second, the debt ceiling that was just raised a while ago is again about to be breached.

How Facebook is run

An article appeared on Slashdot referring to how Facebook is run. If I had a company that had no product, and no specific content (Facebook content is made by users) and still it was worth billions; then I would actually hire a bunch of managers to fan the developers whole day, and give them massages and bring us coffee!
