Welcome to our Web site! This will become a place where you can find out what we have for sale and events coming up. We call this Hilltop Farm as we are the highest point on the Rice Lake plain or so we have been told. There is a lot of history here and a lot of nice people too. Catharine Parr Traill wrote about this area in her book Canadian Crusoes (1851) and there is a historical monument across the road and a few steps East of us. We are blessed to have such a nice property to care for but are finding it a lot more work than we can manage and are looking to find partners to help us develop it in an eco friendly manner. Have decided not to rent out fields to persons who grow GMO crops and use intense amounts of pesticides. Each year we plant a couple hundred trees. Would plant more if had more help and more funds available. This place is growing and evolving as it grows. We are very lucky to have great friends and neighbours help us out a lot.
