The Quebec government has introduced a new procedure to obtain your fishing licence: you now have to apply online. This requires that you set up an account with Tourism Quebec, pay and print your license. When you go fishing, you will need your fishing license and a government issued ID photo.

Heads up – we just received a report of a fishing boat floating off shore on Lac Heney just south of Lac Désormeaux Creek. Light blue in colour. No motor.

Have you seen our watershed map that was posted in our kiosk? It seems to have disappeared during the ice-out. Strangely this has happened twice already…

Folks at the north end of Lac Heney are looking for a new 10 by 16 wooden dock with black floats. There is also a ramp sitting on top of the dock.
