The staff members of Meteghan Funeral Home are proud and very excited to be able to display one of the limited-edition prints of the map, Le Grand Dérangement. This artwork was gifted by Andrew Huskilson, owner of the funeral home, in recognition and respect to the Acadian community our funeral home serves.

The artwork, designed by Saltwreck, is part of the new project titled Collection du Patrimoine Acadien with the goal to finance part of the expenses related to the repairs of La Vieille Maison de Meteghan, which is in danger of collapsing.

Saltwreck has crafted a limited number of these pieces infused with plant DNA from one of the oldest apple trees in the Southwest: the Belliveau apple tree.
