Discover Montreal's most hidden gem! The Montreal Art Centre and Museum invites you to take a journey through time. Your visit will include a spectacular audio guided tour of our historic 19th Century patrimonial building in Griffintown.
Venue Rentals
The Montreal Art Centre and Museum is your best choice for an event rental. Our historic building in Griffintown encompasses over 21,000 square feet that include six art galleries and Museum rooms providing a truly unique and colourful ambiance for your event.
Studio Spaces
Since 2010 the Montreal Art Centre and Museum have been the home to local visual artists through its artist studio rental programs. Located in the heart of Griffintown, the centre has 3 Art Galleries featuring the artworks of its member artists. The centre also includes historic museum rooms, plus 3 additional public galleries containing the centre’s permanent art collection of 19th-century paintings, and works on paper of world-famous artists!

Life Drawing Sessions
What could be a better way to start your week! Join us for an evening of drawing and sketching where you can practice your drawing skills and share your experience with other artists. All levels are invited!
Every week, on Monday, there will be an alternating male or female model, and we will provide easels and drawing tables.
Be sure to book your tickets in advance, as the number of seats is limited, bring your own drawing and sketching materials, and enjoy your session!

Elevator Fund
Our building was built in 1879, and unfortunately, with 3 floors to navigate it does not have elevator access. We find it essential to install an elevator facility as it directly impacts our artists’ and visitors’ ability to assess the museum rooms and studio spaces. We therefore ask you to please support us by donating to our elevator fund.
